Storm 2 Keyboard: How Is The Keyboard Like on The New Storm 2?

More videos are coming showing the Blackberry Storm 2, Blackberry 9550 or Blackberry Odin as RIM code-named it. And well, they are getting more interesting everytime! This video shows the Blackberry Storm 2 in action, and shows one of the most important features that a Blackberry must have; a good and comfortable full QWERTY keyboard, something that the current Storm has although not as effective as one would like.

The difference between the old Storm keyboard and the new Storm 2 keyboard is that we don’t need for the screen to pop up again to press the next key, if thinking twice, the design of the current Storm does not allow the user to type at great speeds like a static touchscreen would do. But with the new screen has the best of the both worlds, tactile feedback like in the oldy Storm and a speedy keyboard like regular button Blackberry.

So what do you think? Does the keyboard look better or will it fail again? As I can tell from the video, the part where the guy is typing was accelerated because I haven’t seen someone typing that fast and so accurately, or he practived a lot before doing the video. Either way, the screen looks amazing!
