BlackBerry Storm drops in price in anticipation of Storm 2

The BlackBerry Storm has been dropping in price all over the Internet. The reasons are two-fold in that the Storm is coming on its first birthday, which will always mean a price drop, and the Storm 2 will be launching, further dropping the price.

Just recently, Verizon began offering the BlackBerry Storm for . AmazonWireless is offering the device for .99 and the lowest price actually comes from the BlackBerry Cool device page.

If you check out the BlackBerry Cool smarpthone page, you can get the BlackBerry Storm for .99 for new Verizon subscribers. At that point, the phone is basically free.
